We have two grown children and two grandchildren.
I’ve been a volunteer in Kid’s Ministry since I was fourteen. My husband Ray was soon on board after being saved in 1981. We’ve seen many changes in Kid’s Ministry over the years but some things have stayed the same. Like children’s need to have fun, to develop genuine friendships, to be supported, and to grow in faith.
So we’re confident that the many resources we’ve created over the years, and the new material we add weekly (here or on our YouTube channel) are relevant and valuable for Kid’s Ministry today. We want to give leaders and volunteers as much help as we can in running an exciting and engaging program so kids will love Jesus and enjoy attending their Kid’s Church to learn more about Him.
Why Cooee?
Growing up in the bush with my brother and two sisters, the cooee call was part of our childhood. A cooee can travel over a long distance. It’s used to attract attention, find lost people or let others know where you are. It’s polite to give a cooee call before approaching someone else’s campfire.
No matter where you are, if your Kid’s Ministry needs a little help, if you’re lost, or just want to gather around the campfire with like minded volunteers, Cooee Kid’s Ministry is the place for you.
Welcome!
