Statement of Faith

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God.

2 Timothy 3:16-17  All scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

We believe in the unity of the One True and Living God who has also revealed Himself as One being in three Persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Matthew 28:9 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

2 Corinthians 13:14 May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His Sinless life, in His Miraculous Ministry, His substitutionary Atoning Death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His triumphant ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

Isaiah 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign:  The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.

Matthew 1:23 “The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel” (which means ‘God with us’).

Hebrews 7:26 Such a high priest truly meets our need – one who is holy, blameless, pure, set apart from sinners, exalted above the heavens.

1 Peter 2:22 “He committed no sin, and no deceit was found in his mouth.”

Acts 2:22 “Fellow Israelites, listen to this:  Jesus of Nazareth was a man accredited by God to you by miracle, wonders and signs, which God did among you through him, as you yourselves know.

Acts 10:38 …how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him.

2 Corinthians 5:21 God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

Hebrews 9:12 He did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves; but he entered the Most Holy Place once for all by his own blood, thus obtaining eternal redemption.

Luke 24:39 “Look at my hands and my feet.  It is I myself!  Touch me and see; a ghost does not have flesh and bones, as you see I have.”

1 Corinthians 15:4 …that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures.

Acts 1:9 After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight.

Romans 8:34 Who then is the one who condemns?  No one.  Christ Jesus who died – more than that who was raised to life – is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.

We believe in salvation through faith in Christ, who died for our sins, was buried and was raised from the dead on the third day, and that through His Blood we have Redemption.

Titus 2:11-14 For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people.  It teaches us to say ‘no’ to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope – the appearing of the glory of our great God and Saviour, Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.
