Boredom Busting Stories for Your Family Part 4

A Matter of Time

Seven stories about Lucinda and her astonishing friend Professor Ninnyhammer.  Time travel stories never get old.  Time and again this series, with Bible stories from the Gospel of John, has made kids laugh as they learn Bible truths they can apply to their own lives.  Devotions and prayers accompany each story.

Professor Ninnyhammer has never been to a wedding.  Lucinda’s description of the wonderful time she had at her aunts wedding enthuses the Professor so much they board the Time Slip Machine to visit the wedding at Cana.  Lucinda learns when you invite Jesus into a situation, you invite a miracle!

  • Go on a backyard picnic and take some Tic Toc biscuits to eat
  • Make a smoothie
  • Make a book using the illustrations and write or draw your own time travelling adventure
  • Try your own scientific experiments (but no rocket fuel please!)

  • Make a family time capsule
  • Choreograph a dance, learn the steps, and put on a show!

When I bump into grown-ups I used to teach as kids, it’s this series with Professor Ninnyhammer that is one of their fondest memories.  It’s a joy to have the stories on a website so they can read them to their children.

God bless you all,
