Kingdom Keys    

It’s exasperating to be locked out of your house, car or computer. All you want to do is gain access! This lesson teaches children about the Keys to the Kingdom that Jesus gave Peter.  The keys that unlocked salvation and healing for everyone!

Bible Lesson: Jesus Gives Peter the Keys to the Kingdom

Ministry to the Children: The Kingdom of Heaven has been opened to you if you believe that Jesus is your Saviour!

Memory Verse: Use any number of methods to ‘unlock’ the Memory Verse from Matthew 16:19. “I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven.”

The Devil is a Hacker!

This lesson alerts children to the fact that the devil intends to harm people in any way he can because he knows how much God loves them. The Bible story about Judas is an example of someone whose thoughts and heart desires led them to sin. It is suitable for upper-primary-aged children and teenagers.

Bible Lesson:  The Last Supper

Ministry to the Children: The devil is a hacker who wants to kill and destroy, but Jesus came so that you could have life and have it abundantly. 

Memory Verse:  Use the binary alphabet to teach the Memory Verse from James 4:7 “So give yourselves completely to God.  Stand against the devil, and the devil will run from you.”

The Gifts of the Holy Spirit

This lesson introduces children to the Gifts of the Holy Spirit and explains what the Gifts are and who they are for.

Bible Lesson:  The Gifts of the Holy Spirit

Ministry to the Children:  The Bible tells us to ‘pursue love, and earnestly desire the spiritual gifts, especially that you may prophesy.’ (1 Corinthians 14:1)Your number one priority is to love God and love people. A way to love people is to value the Gifts of the Holy Spirit and to actively seek them, and to use them to the Glory of God!

Memory Verse:  Free-for-all Gift Hunt 1 Corinthians 6:19 “You surely know that your body is a temple where the Holy Spirit lives.  The Spirit is in you and is a gift from God.  You are no longer your own.”
