Free Bible Lessons for February
What’s New at Cooee Kid’s Ministry?
Here’s the lessons that were posted on the website for the month of February, 2020. Check them out for your Kid’s Ministry.
Cross Country: A lesson from Hebrews 12 verses 1 to 3
Most children have run a cross country race at school, an open air race over natural terrain. In the Book of Hebrews it says the Christian life is just like running a race. Children will learn to run the race so they can ultimately win a victor’s crown! There’s a stepping stone Memory Verse from Psalm 119 v 32. You can create a mini cross country meet for your kids! Make a flag or victor’s crown for craft. And why not have a Church get together to view the movie ‘Overcomer’.

Cross Fit: As Christians we need to be ‘Cross Fit’. So surrendered to Jesus that we can do anything and everything He asks us to. Now there’s a challenge!
There’s an opening ‘warm up’ sketch between a Kid’s Church leader and a Cross Fit trainer to act out. The Way of the Cross Bible Lesson and a Memory Verse from Mark…’whoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.’ Children learn the Memory Verse by following footprints secured to the floor. Make an ‘odd object conditioning course’ for this week’s game. There’s suggestions for a Cross craft: crosses made from paddle pop sticks, beads or painted using a water resist method.

God Loves a Mystery: A morning of mystery and secrets revealed!
As a leader you’ll have the opportunity to gain a new skill using ‘Box Letters’ to reveal crucial parts of the story. Begin your mysterious morning with a mystery message parcel. The Bible lesson is about the Old Testament mystery that is finally revealed in the New. There’s lots of clues to reveal so the mystery can be solved. Follow the clues to the Memory Verse in Ephesians 3:6. Play a game of Bible ‘Who Am I?’ or Hunt the Thimble. Make a mystery box for craft and hide something yummy inside!

Life House: Lesson 1 in the new series titled ‘Open House’
A lesson with an unusual visual aid, a doll house! Used to display the life of Oliver, better known as Ollie. Mr H, Ollie’s RE (Scripture class) teacher tells the class, ‘Asking Jesus into your life is as easy as A, B, C.’ When Ollie hears Mr H read ‘My Father and I will come to them and live with them…’ well, just the thought of Jesus in his Life House makes Ollie feel better. Children can take the Memory Verse clothesline challenge. Play a game of musical chairs and make a Home Sweet Home bookmark.
